The La Slp

Empowering Little Voices to Shine

At The LA SLP, we believe every child deserves to feel confident and understood.
Our approach is child-led and play-based, creating a fun and encouraging environment where learning and growth happen naturally. We see communication as more than just words—it’s how children connect, explore, and express who they are.

We’re here to support your child’s development and empower your family with tools and strategies that make communication a positive part of everyday life. When families and therapists work together, real progress happens.

Meet The Founder

Hi, I’m Michelle, founder of The LA SLP. I’m a licensed and board-certified speech-language pathologist (SLP) with over 10 years of experience helping children—from birth through adolescence—thrive in their everyday lives.

I began my career as a child-development specialist working with children from birth to age three, then earned my Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license through Loma Linda University to expand my clinical experience. Following my dream to become an SLP, I earned my Master’s degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from Emerson College.

Throughout my journey, I’ve worked in schools, outpatient rehab, clinics, and through telepractice. I love what I do and feel honored to support children and families in building confidence and meaningful communication.
